Reasons Why Steve Is A Stick Insect

1. She looks a bit like a twig.
2. She is skinnier than a normal tree trunk.
3. Her skin is very green, in order to camouflage herself in the undergrowth of my tank (ooh err).
4. Her antenna are nearly as long as the rest of her body.
5. She chews off her own legs when they get too old and she wants new ones.
6. She moves around the tank in a particularly creepy fashion.
7. She dies when I forget to feed her.
8. I don't know what she eats, which is why she dies so often.
9. She is one of the most popular forms of insect to be kept as a pet.
10. She sheds her skin on a weekly basis.

12. She will pinch and bite, as she is not used to being handled.
13. She often is almost invisible to the naked eye, due to her surroundings.
