Birthday de la Thomas

Right. Damn blog, deleting all my wonderful, funny and obviously beautifully written essay on today's events. Actually, the only reason I'm annoyed, really, is because I spent quite a while writing that last entry. Ah well, I guess this is a way to avoid boredom: write a lengthly post about nothing in particular, delete it, and commence re-write. By God, I'm a genius.
Today was ... interesting to say the least. We arrived at Waterloo, me shaking like a leaf (what the hell does that similie actually mean? Do leaves even shake?), Abi and Kris shaking with hunger. We wandered around Waterloo for ages, stealing furtive glances as any crowd of tall, rough looking guys heading anywhere near our direction in case they happened to be the motley crew we were supposed to be meeting. Finally, we spotted them, but we didn't manage to keep hidden, and after accidently making eye contact with them, they headed their way over to us. Cue a lot of jokes about my unfortunate choice in bag - note to self: do not wear zippy bag in the presence of unstable males - and comments about my three tone hair, and the many remarks about Kris's interesting facial expressions. Meanies. After the teasing had stopped enough for us to make a move, we dawdled in the direction of the tube, to somewhere or another - we left the directions to those considered competent - and ended up in Marble Arch. After a couple of wrong turns (and Tom retrieving a huge map from his bag, much to our amusement) we ended up at the Marble Arch Odeon. Tickets to 'Dodgeball' were purchased, which proved to be, surprisingly, hilarious. Despite its crapola storyline. However, the film was punctuated with the loud - and somewhat raucous - laugher of Oli. Which made me laugh. A lot.
After the film, we made our way back to Tom's house, for me to be picked up early, due to bad parentage - and leaving the others having fun. Without me. Sigh. Which would explain why I am bored, and in need of something interesting to do. Still, this is not meant to be a complaining blog, this is supposed to be a 'write down my interesting thoughts' blog. But this seems to have backfired, as I, Cassie Bowman, do not have one single interesting thought.
