The Tide Is High, But I'm Holding On

Friday evening was spent chez Amy, to celebrate her birthday. Twas fabness, as we danced, air guitared, got slightly tipsy, discussed many crazy things, learned the dance to Swing Swing (choreographed by the dance experts Emma and myself on that fateful latin trip), looked at the GROOVY Charlie and the Chocolate Factory cake, made by Jane, had a treasure hunt, texted and received texts (aren't we anti-social), watched Ten Things I Hate About You, watched the beginning of Aladdin, got worried about Anji's mini night-time fit, etc. etc. etc.

Thankye, Amy. I hope you had a groovin' time.

Saturday morning, I was collected at the cracked of dawn in my pyjamas (also known as Alex's hawaii shorts and a tshirt), attempted to tidy my room, got dressed and waited for the crew to arrive. At last they did, and we set on our way to Brighton. We first went to Michelle's house where we met some random dogs, one of which insisted on carrying a stick around. I have no idea why.

We left the house, and wandered down to the sea front, where we bough chips, and sat by the sea. The rest of the day was spent like this:

All in all, it was a bloody brilliant day. I am so going to live there.
