Prom

Look, everyone, a title that actually fits the post.

This is a sad day, indeed.

It is a sad day for a number of reasons:

  1. I have spent the majority of my summer holiday so far working. Admittedly, it's not exactly taxing work. Answering phones, and so on, but it's still detracting from the break that I am supposed to be having. However, it does mean that I will be able to afford to do stuff. Like going to London. Or bribing my friends. Cool.
  2. My hair is going orange already, and now clashes with my dress. Which brings me on to point number...
  3. I look hilarious in the dress anyway. Me + dress = Hahahaha. Simple equation.
  4. This bra is a bit psycho. So many straps, no undoing equipment, and infinite shinyness. Scary shit.
  5. It is the Prom tonight. This is a night I have been dreading for many a month, many a year, and if I was old enough, probably many a decade. There will be dancing. Have you SEEN me dance? It's like watching a limbless leper attempting to climb Mount. Everest. Basically, not good or fun to watch. Actually, it probably is quite amusing, provided you can bear the embarrassment. There will also be a DJ. A freakin' DJ at a Prom. It's going to be like a School Disco, with the added humilation of dresses people keep tripping over, shoes people cannot walk in, bow ties people cannot stay alive in, and the YMCA. Holy moly.

And now, I am very nervous. I am more nervous about this than I was about my GCSEs. Nice order of priority, eh?

well, that makes me think my work for the last half a year was really WORTHWHILE.
Thanks.
